Feet rest on Amboyna Burl plates. Feet and base molding are trimmed with Amboyna Burl accent carvings. Drawer pull is carved from Amboyna Burl with Sterling Silver post and plate. The plate is shaped to match the sculpted drawer front. Amboyna Burl beading trims all drawer openings, and all cabinet framing is dovetailed. Amboyna Burl columns are set into front corners of cabinets.

Mahogany Secretary with doors open - interior contains 26 drawers, 18 pigeon holes and 10 secret compartments.

Interior details - Center door is flanked by Amboyna Burl columns and springs open with secret trick latch. Nine other secret compartments add to the intrigue. Amboyna Burl carvings cap all eighteen pigeon holes. All interior cabinet structures and drawers are dovetailed.
