Hundreds years ago, artists like myself were making spectacular pieces of furniture. Unfortunately they did not know as much about wood movement as we do today. When working with solid wood, structures must be engineered to allow the wood to expand and contract with environmental changes. Much of the joinery developed in the past, was intended to compensate for the shortcomings of the adhesives available at the time. Modern adhesives make those same joinery techniques much stronger.
At this point in time, there are no excuses. My work should last for hundreds of years.
I'll keep my guarantee simple:
If you have any problems with my work -
I will repair it.
If the problem is a result of defects in materials, design, or workmanship, you will not be charged.
Repairs resulting from accidents or abuse at your end will be charged at my current hourly rate. Return shipping expenses are your responsibility. If local repair is more economical, I will coordinate with your local shop to facilitate it.
This guarantee is effective for my lifetime.
After that - I'll do what I can.
