When I am witness to things of beauty,
I feel an inner glow, a sense of wonder.
It is as if my soul is being fed. Some of these objects are made by artists, some by nature. In the work I do, I have the privilege of working with some of natures beauty. The materials I spend my days with are works of art in themselves. I feel I have a responsibility to do justice to these materials.

I approach each project with the attitude of an artist. I am not just trying to create beautiful furniture. I want to create works of art. I draw inspiration from examples of work created during the reigns of Louis XIV and XV in France. Emile Jacques Ruhlmann also created some incredible pieces in Paris in the early 1900's. I admire the classical styles of the work created by the masters of the past, but it is what they aspired to that inspires me. They worked with the finest materials, and designed pieces that required incredible technical skill to execute. They shot for the stars.

I work alone, and every step of each project gets my personal attention. I am committed to producing the highest level of work I am capable of. It is my goal that the work I create will find a way to express some of that wonderful, soul feeding magic.
